  • Responding to Relationships

    Responding to Relationships is a customized event series tailored to bring transformative relationship skills to active duty military, veterans, emergency responders and their partners. Each five-star retreat series is led by facilitators with first-hand experience in the field. All couples who are seriously dating, engaged, or married are welcome, and invited to learn in an engaging, safe environment as they dedicate intentional time to one another.

    The Love and Logic Institute is dedicated to making parenting fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. We provide practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children.

  • Mary T Keller Family Therapist

    Mary T. Kelly, M.A. is a marriage and family psychotherapist and writer who has been

    specializing in working with women who are dating, partnered with or married to men with children, step-couples and stepfamilies for over 15 years. She has a private practice in Boulder, Colorado and also works with clients through Skype or FaceTime domestically and internationally. Additionally, Mary runs support groups, both face-to-face in Boulder and online. She is a contributing writer for Huffington Post and Stepmom Magazine.

    In essence, this coaching plan provides parents with a structured path to navigate the complexities of family life. By focusing on self-awareness, authenticity, and practical skills, parents can create a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes growth, open communication, and strong family connections.

  • Marigold Mental Health

    At Lil’ Buckaroo’s Farm in Erie, Marigold Mental Health offers animal assisted therapy.

    Being around animals, such as goats, sheep, and alpacas, has been shown to reduce

    stress and anxiety while promoting a sense of calm and well-being. The farm’s

    environment allows visitors to engage with animals in a natural, peaceful setting, which can help improve mood and mental clarity. Amanda integrates animal-assisted interactions, play and art-based interventions, mindfulness, and evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to improve mental health.

  • Colorado Youth Outdoor

    Colorado Youth Outdoors (CYO) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was created 2001. CYO’s mission is building relationships through traditional outdoor recreation. To accomplish this mission, we integrate the phrases Participate, Appreciate, Communicate, and Dedicate into our recreation curriculum. We call this method of integration the PACD Model and incorporate it within all our activities, including fishing, archer camping, shooting sports, and nature play.

Being married to a law enforcement officer is a lifestyle and it makes us incredibly flexible, independent and strong. I left my career in education to stay home with my children and now have a career as a writer providing support and resources to law enforcement families. This community is a place of encouragement, support, and motivation for all law enforcement wives and families.
