Responders, do you want to learn how to stick weld? Join us for a half-day intro to welding class at General Air in Denver. About an hour or so of classroom, and then about 2-3 hours of Stick Welding on their machines. Wear long pants, and closed toe shoes - work boots would be great. Summer Couples Retreat

Join us and After the Alarm June 6th-8th for a first responder couples retreat in beautiful Westcliffe, CO at Eagles Summit Ranch. This will not be your typical retreat as we hope to provide a relaxing weekend doing many different fun activities together and allowing you time to reconnect. There will also be a special guest chef who will teach us some things, and cook meals over open fire. We know that life is stressful and it's sometimes hard to find time to focus on our relationships. This retreat is centered around building communication and having resiliency in relationships that are integral to being a strong first responder family!

For your planning purposes we will be leaving the Denver area around 8am on Thursday, planning to be in Westcliffe around noon and returning around 3pm on Saturday.

We found the time to talk about our concerns, appreciations, and love for one another without interruption from work or our busy schedules. Noah's Ark Retreat for Weld County Responders

If you’re a responder who works or lives in Weld County, this is an awesome retreat for you sponsored by the Weld County Trust. Join a few other responders for an adventure filled time and connection with others. Plan on leaving with the group the morning of July 24th, camping in large tents, and returning by the evening of July 26th. You will get to experience fly fishing, rafting, rock climbing, bon fires, and other activities on the beautiful property at Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista.

July 24th - Arrive around lunch time and eat, wade fishing, dinner, camping

July 25th - Browns Canyon All Day rafting, meals and camping

July 26th - AM rock climbing, lunch, depart

Join us for a virtual support group for survivors of suicide the second Tuesday of every month. This group will be for family members, co-workers, close friends of first responders who have died by suicide and it's also for responders who have experienced the suicide of a family member, co-worker, or close friend. Warrior Workshop for Responder significant others

This workshop by Purple Lotus will offer coping tools and resources for addressing the unique stressors of being a significant other of a First Responder. We will discuss and practice tools for addressing stress, fatigue and chronic pain due to the effects of secondary trauma. We will begin to detox the mind and body from past patterns of survival and build new mental-circuitry in order to gain relief and healing from the challenges of being a spouse of a First Responder.
